Woman Arrested for Attempted Bribery

A 49-year-old foreign woman has been arrested on suspicion of bribing a public official in an attempt to renew her resident's permit, said police today.

According to their statement, the woman went to the Department of Migration and attempted to give the un-named employee 1000 euros. Further details will be released upon investigation, added police.
