Three Cyprus Airways Airbus planes have returned to Larnaca Airport in the last 24 hours after experiencing technical problems mid-flight, said a Cyprus Airways spokesman.
Today, an Airbus 320 experienced problems and returned to the airport at 5.26 after 20 minutes of flight. All the passengers disembarked safely.
Yesterday, Flight CY 352 to Zurich returned to the airport at 10:45 this morning after the captain noticed a problem with the plane's climate control, he said. An Airbus 330 on its way to Paris from Larnaca returned to the island at 11:55 due to problems with the plane's hydraulic system.
The planes are being checked and after a pilot's test will take off again, said the spokesman. Some night flights tonight may be delayed, he added.
