24-year-old Man Dies in Nicosia Road Accident
A 24-year-old man died yesterday afternoon in a road accident in Tseri after he lost control of his car, plunging 20 metres into a ditch on the side of the road and colliding with a railing.
The driver was trapped in his car by his seatbelt and despite its best efforts, the fire department were unable to save his life. He was taken to Nicosia General Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Police have asked anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them on the Citizen's Line 1460.
