25-year-old Dead in Motorcycle Accident

A 25-year-old man from Tseri died in a motorcycle accident last night, said police.

Loukas Demetriou was driving on Strovolos Avenue towards Tseri at around 9.45pm when he collided with a car being driven by a 21-year-old Nicosia man.

Although Demetriou was rushed to hospital, doctors could not do anything for him and he was declared dead on arrival. Traffic police said they are investigating how the accident happened.
