Man Drowns on Mazotos Coast

47-year-old Olymbiodoros Christodoulou from Limassol was found unconscious yesterday in the Petounta coastal area in Mazotos, Larnaca, said police.

He was on a diving expedition with friends, who pulled him into their boat after they found him floating in the water. He was airlifted to the Larnaca harbour and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said there was no evidence of foul play, and the causes of death are under investigation by Kiti police.
