Attempted Murder - Paphos
Police have arrested an 80-year-old Paphos man for attempted murder after he shot his son-in-law in the legs with a hunting gun.
According to the latest information, the suspect was angry at his 48-year-old son-in-law for parking in front of his bedroom and blasting hot exhaust fumes into the room. He went over to his home and shot him twice, then fled, said authorities.
Paphos crime police said that he is suffering from psychological problems and have the man in custody after he surrendered without protest. The shooting victim is in hospital and out of danger, said doctors at Paphos General Hospital.
