Young Motorcyclist Dies in Road Accident
A 28-year-old motorcyclist has died in a road accident in Dekhelia, said Sovereign Base police.
Demetris Stylianou was critically injured when he came off his bike Thursday night after apparently crashing into a pavement; police said the exact circumstances that are being investigated. The refrigerator repairman from Ormidia died of his injuries early Friday morning and his autopsy is being held today.
The young man is the second motorcyclist to die this week on the roads; on Wednesday a 25-year-old lost his life in Limassol.
