Unknown Pedestrian Killed on Highway

An unknown foreign man has been killed in a road accident on the Kalamon overpass in Nicosia, said police.

The man was aged between 30-40 years and reportedly tried to cross the road when he was struck by a car driven by a 77-year-old man at 11pm last night. After being taken to hospital, doctors certified his death.

Nicosia traffic police are investigating the case.
