23-year-old Man Dies in Road Accident

A 23-year-old Romanian man died yesterday in a road accident on Athienou-Avdellerou road, said police.
The accident happened at 7.10pm when the victim's car veered off the road and plunged into an 9-metre ditch. The 23-year-old was fatally injured and his 22-year-old passenger is being treated for injuries to his right hand.
His name has not been released pending next of kin being informed of his death, said police.
Larnaca traffic police have the case.
