Cyprus Sends 100,000 euros to Pakistan
The government is to send 100,000 euros in financial aid to Pakistan amid a humanitarian crisis in the country which has suffered from widespread flooding resulting in the deaths of 1,600 people.
Monsoon rains have affected more than 17 million people, leaving four million homeless. According to international aid agencies, 3.5 million people are short of drinking water, and 3.2 million need medical attention.
