Blues Favourites At 7Seas Live Music Bar

One of the most exciting new blues sounds to come from a Cyprus-based band can be heard live at the 7Seas Live Music Bar on Thursday October 21st, 10pm.

(It’s A) Feel Thing was founded by bassist Nektarios Cassar and lead singer Sarah Fenwick in 2009. Some of Cyprus' best live musicians are members of the band, such as guitarist George Solonos, pianist Philip Zilfo and drummer Chris Ioannides.

The group has its own unique sound of sweet blues melodies with rocking percussion and bass lines combined with the intensely emotional voice of Sarah Fenwick who comes from a jazz background.

Feel Thing pays respect to and keeps alive the great art form of the blues, which express so many of life's experiences of love, joy, loss, sexual attraction, betrayal, and pain. The band performs the great compositions of Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, Sheryl Crow, Eric Clapton plus many more. The group also writes fresh and original songs inspired by the blues and performed in their live shows.

Feel Thing has performed with great success at the 7Seas in Limassol, ARTos Cultural Centre in Nicosia, Paradise Place in Pomos, and in the Blue Bar wine bar in Nicosia as well as appearing on RIK’s television show Entechnos.
