Champagne, Music and Hollywood Glamour at the Londa

Oscar-Winning film music songs, sophisticated Hollywood glamour and Ruinart champagne will be flowing at Limassol’s Londa Hotel on Saturday 26 of February.

The chic boutique hotel will be hosting its own personal tribute to Hollywood’s Oscar winners with a unique ‘Music & Songs from Film and Movies’ dinner.

Served in the Londa’s Caprice Restaurant, the sparkling backdrop of the starlit Mediterranean Sea will provide the perfect ambience for an evening of fine food, wine and beautiful melodies recreating the passion, glamour and sophistication of the very best that Hollywood can offer.

The elegant black tie affair will transport you to a bygone era of musical enchantment; the red carpet awaits, the champagne is on ice and the sumptuous 3-course dinner, created by the Londa’s award winning chef, Patrick Steklmacher, will delight your senses as Oscar winning theme songs resonate in the Caprice Restaurant.

Internationally renowned soprano Katerina Mina and multi-award-winning film music composer Roman Kariolou performing film music by Ennio Morricone and Roman Kariolou, as well as songs from movies like ‘Titanic’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘Love Story’ and ‘Once upon a time in the West’ LIVE in the Caprice Restaurant.

Katerina Mina is making a name for herself as one of the finest sopranos of her generation. As an opera singer, Katerina has performed in some of the most prestigious Opera Houses and Concert Halls in the world and is a prize winner in two prestigious international singing competitions. Katerina is also the winner of the 2008 Madame Figaro Magazine Singer-of-the-Year Awards.

Roman Kariolou is one of the most promising and successful composers of his generation. Roman started his career as a violinist with famous teachers such as Matheos Kariolou, Yehudi Menuhin and Zakhar Bron. The wide scope of his award winning work includes musical scores for feature films by famous Hollywood directors. In 2009 Roman Kariolou was awarded the “Vienna Filmmusic Award”, one of the most prestigious awards in the world for film music, awarded to him by famous Hollywood composer, John Barry.

This special Dinner will be served from 21.30pm sharp following the 21.00pm Ruinart Champagne reception.
