48-year-old Killed in Car Accident - Aradippou

48-year-old Ioannis Paraskevas died early this morning in a car accident on the Aradippou-Avdelerou road in the Larnaca district, said police.
Paraskevas was in a car being driven by a 35-year-old man in an open field near the road, when the vehicle overturned. Aradippou police are investigating the causes of the accident, in which the 48-year-old was killed and the driver was hospitalised.
The accident happened at 3.20am, said police, who later arrested the driver for manslaughter by reckless endangerment and illegally transporting explosives.
