Larnaca Pensioner Robbed in Home

A 63-year-old man was robbed of 2,500 euros after two masked burglars broke into his Larnaca home and threatened him with a knife, said police.
The pensioner was asleep on his couch last night at around 2am and was woken up to see a burglar holding a knife to his throad. The robbers threatened and beat the 63-year-old, then stole money, his mobile phone and his car.
The shaken victim of the home invasion was taken to Larnaca General Hospital and treated for cuts and bruises to his right hand and other parts of his body.
Larnaca crime detectives are investigating the crime.
