27-year-old Woman Forced Into Prostitution - Police

A 27-year-old Belorussian women has accused her 43-year-old employer of forcing her into prostitution and having sex against her will with customers of his Dali pub in the Nicosia district, said police.
The woman suffered threats of violence from the man, who went as far as to menace her with a loaded gun. According to her statement, the abuse started on April 16th and carried on until June 1st.
The 43-year-old pub owner was arrested for questioning, after which investigators searched his pub and found a cannabis cigarette in the handbag belonging to his 38-year-old employee. The woman was also arrested and is being questioned.
