27-year-old Paphos Motorcyclist Dead in Accident
A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Paphos was killed in an accident at 9.20pm last night, said police.
Peyia resident George Ioannou was driving on Archbishop Makarios Avenue in Chlorakas when he crashed into a car turning right onto the road.
The driver of the car - a 20-year-old Greek national - was arrested and tested negative for alcohol.
Ioannou was taken to Paphos General Hospital and certified dead on arrival.
Paphos traffic police are investigating the causes of the accident.
