Baghdatis Champion in Medibank Tournament
Marcos Baghdatis has won the Medibank Tournament in Sydney, Australia in a masterful display of tennis skills highlighting his ace serve.
He won in two straight sets that were interrupted by rain, 6-4 and 7-6, beating Frenchman Richard Gasquet to gain an additional 250 points and 67,200 Australian dollars in prize money.
It is the 24-year-old Cypriot's fourth championship title. His next match is in the Australian Open starting Monday 18th.
