Paphos Municipality Launches Charity Market
Paphos municipality has launched a charity market to help 120 families with serious financial difficulties, said Mayor Savvas Vergas.
The market will be held in an old nursery school opposite the Town Hall in Paphos, and will open just after Orthodox Easter to run until the beginning of summer.
Donations for the market are welcomed and proceeds from sales will be given to poor families in desperate need.
The municipality is still taking applications from other families who need money and provisions, said the mayor.
