56-year-old Man Dies in Nicosia Road Accident

A 56-year-old man from Episkopio was killed yesterday night in a road accident in Nicosia, said police.
Sofoklis Kanaris was on Psimolofou - Defteras road travelling towards Nicosia at 8.30pm when he collided with another car, whose driver abandoned the scene.
The 56-year-old was killed in the collision, said police.
Nicosia traffic police are investigating the accident and are searching for the unknown driver.
