Swine Flu Under Control - Health Ministry
Fears of an H1N1 virus flu pandemic have receded to such an extent that the ministry of health is withdrawing most control measures, said a spokesman today.
A vaccination programme in the public hospitals is now ended, although people in high risk groups - including the elderly - will still be able to receive free injections in maternity and child care health centres.
The ministry will continue to monitor the situation, said a spokesman.
Six people died of swine flu in January but no cases were reported in February.
