Cafe Chantant in Cyprus

The wonderfully evocative folk music group Cafe Chantant from Rhodes will be in Nicosia on March 12th and 13th in Geitonia Ton Asmaton in Aglandjia.

Their repertoire consists of Greek Rembetica, traditional folk songs, and quality Greek music by composers like Manos Loizos, Theodorakis, Zambetas, Tsitsanis and Markopoulos.

The isngers are Panagiotis Markanides, Angeliki Roditi, Nikolas Moscholios (voice and guitar) Nomiki Stappa (voice), George Poulos (bouzouki), Tassos Nanos (bouzouki and baklamas), Pantalis Taladianos (pliktra), Vassilis Zachariou (bass) and Sotiris Kalogeris (drums.)
