Stricter Drink Driving Laws
New drinking laws are set to lower the blood alcohol level limit to 9mg from 22mg, said Minister of Communications and Works Erato Kozakou-Markoulli.
The new limit applies to motorcyclists and professional drivers and aims to reduce the number of fatal and serious traffic accidents. The new rules will be enforced starting just after Easter.
Driving under the influence is a major cause of road accident fatalities.
