27-Year-Old Cypriot Man Dies in Car Accident

A 27-year-old man from Galata was killed in a car accident at 6am this morning on the Nicosia-Troodos road, according to police reports.

Andreas Violaris lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, crashing into a cement fence around a parking lot belonging to a supermarket on the roadside. The car was completely destroyed, said police, adding that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
