Jazz and blues singer Sarah Fenwick presents a series of eight vocal confidence workshops in collaboration with NIMAC and Nicosia Pop-up Festival in December. Using her lifelong experience on stage and in the public eye, she guides you with eight transformational stages towards a more confident you.
Workshop participants include Jazz singers, Pop singers, TV presenters, Speakers and Musical Theatre singers, Entrepreneurs who present, Sales personnel, and anyone who wants to gain more authentic confidence and self-expression.

Tuesday 5th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘Deciding to be Confident’. There are two people inside you; the confident one and the non-confident one. Which one will you decide to be today? Followed by practical exercises for relaxing and getting in touch with points of bodily tensions.
Thursday 7th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘The role of oxygen in our psychological state.’ Followed by practical exercises for calming the breath and using the energy created by oxygen to power our expression.
Tuesday 12th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘Connecting your voice with your emotions.’ Followed by practical exercises to get in touch with our emotions and use them to power our voices.
Thursday 14th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘What’s A Diaphragm?’ Followed by practical exercises on how to use the diaphragm and breathing in supporting the voice.
Tuesday 19th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘Warming up and strengthening the voice.’ Followed by practical exercises.
Thursday 21st – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘Caring for the voice’. Followed by tips and Q&A.
Tuesday 26th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘Free Yourself’. Exploring our cultural background and who we are. What holds us back? Reaching for awareness about what blocks us and what can unblock our expression.
Thursday 28th – Workshop talk presented by Sarah Fenwick ‘There’s no substitute for experience.’ Followed by prose or singing performances by workshop participants.
