Sarah’s Jazz Club Grand Re-opening on June 11, 2021

As the island’s music scene slowly gets started after a long lockdown, Sarah’s Jazz Club is delighted to announce its grand reopening on June 11, 2021. 

The re-opening event ‘Social Call’ will be a stylish evening of marvellous jazz songs performed by:

Sarah Fenwick - Vocals

Charis Ioannou - Saxophone

Dimitris Miaris - Piano

Marios Spyrou - Drums

Costas Challoumas - Bass

As there is limited capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions, it’s advisable to book your table early by calling 95147711.

Jon Hendricks wrote the song ‘Social Call’ in 1955. Sarah’s Jazz Club echoes its themes of getting together and socialising. The themes are apt after so many months of social isolation and shut-down venues amid the pandemic.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the jazz club has spent over one year in lockdown. A similar story was seen in the wider artistic and creative sector. 

“We can’t wait to share great live music with the audience once again. Listening to live music after a long silence is like reaching a cool oasis in the desert. Live music helps us to balance our emotions and to express them in a creative and healthy way, something we all need after all of the pandemic traumas,” says co-founder and jazz singer Sarah Fenwick. 

The jazz club is open from 7:30pm for socialising, drinks and food.

Live music begins at 9pm.
