Artist Sarah Fenwick has taken the unusual step of holding a silent auction on social media for her painting ‘Nature’s Memories’.
“The story of Nature’s Memory started in January 2022. I intended to paint a portrait but inspiration kept pushing me toward something else. Originally it was a woman. The woman’s face was turned upwards, as if to the sky. Her arms reached out to something I couldn’t see. Slowly, as I painted, her arms changed form. They became an arch that framed her body. Her shoulders, face, and chest turned into flowers, birds, and a butterfly. Her skin tone turned into a light background and there was the truth of what I was painting - Nature. A cosmic blast of nature’s memories and how we are all part of universal energy.” Sarah Fenwick.
Bids will be accepted between 9 am and 5 pm on Sunday, October 30th by private message to the artist. Bidders have the option of participating on Linkedin or on Facebook.

Nature’s Memories was painted in 2022 in acrylics on canvas, inspired by the way nature preserves memories in the form of seeds and flowers.
The piece is unframed and is 100 cm in height and 75 cm in width.
Sarah Fenwick is a well-known English-Cypriot singer and painter and her artworks have been featured in exhibitions in Cyprus and Greece. Many of her pieces are in private collections in Cyprus and abroad.
The buyer will receive the signed painting by hand delivery (cost included in the selling price) in addition to a certificate of authenticity. Shipping costs outside Cyprus are extra.
